Well.ca is Canada's online store for health, beauty and baby essentials. We carry more than 50,000 products from over 3000 brands, with free shipping almost everywhere in Canada.
Our focus is on giving customers a simple and hassle‐free shopping experience with a personalized touch with each package shipped. With over 100 employees and 1 million orders shipped, we are great at making the lives of busy Canadians a little bit easier.
How we got here
Well.ca was started in the closet of a pharmacy, over 5 years ago, and has been growing exponentially since. We’ve had many headquarters, including a church basement, our founder’s house, and currently in a lovely building connected to our Warehouse, in Guelph Ontario. We also have a second office in downtown Toronto.
Awards and Accolades
Well.ca has won numerous awards, including 2013 Canada Post eCommerce Innovations award for best e-tailer, 2013 Retail Council of Canada Award for best E-commerce retailer, and 2012 Canada Post eCommerce Innovation awards for best online retailer, and most innovative.
In 2012, Well.ca opened the first Virtual Wall, in Brookfield Place, outside of Toronto’s Union Station. Designed to provide on-the-go commuters with queue-less shopping the virtual shelves held products from P&G brands such as Tide, Crest, Head and Shoulders and Pampers, that shoppers could purchase from their smartphone.
Since then Well.ca has rolled out other innovative features, such as the Subscriptions feature, allowing customers to schedule repeated purchases of their essential products, and the Well.ca iOS app, which allows customers to purchase all products we carry, right from their iPhone, iPad or iPod. The app also added “cupboard” functionality, allowing customers to group their favourite products together in an easy to find place, for future purchases.
