Responsibilities:

  • Secure & Negotiate marketing budgets from brands
  • Strategically market these brands on Well.ca within the confines of their budgets
  • Work with Category Managers and Marketing team to ensure all marketing efforts are aligned to promotional plans
  • Hit and surpass monthly revenue targets
  • Provide brands with post campaign reports

Skills and Experience:

  • 1-2 years of Marketing/Advertising and Sales experience preferably in the retail/ecommerce space
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • PowerPoint and Excel experience is a must
  • Excellent knowledge and passion for eCommerce and online marketing
  • Strong understanding of e-campaign performance drivers and optimization techniques
  • Strong analytical capabilities
  • Attention to detail and a get-it-done attitude

Merchandising Assistant

Job Description:

Content Creation:

  • Onboard new products and maintaining new product targets
  • Create unique product-level content to support SEO
  • Ensure that the products are properly categorized and merchandised

Assisting the Category Management team including:

  • Liaise with vendors including contacting vendors for content and imagery and new product listings
  • Support Category Merchandising programs, e.g., visual merchandising on site as well as marketing programs
  • Conduct website analysis to identify product opportunities (e.g., identify products with high traffic and low conversion and trouble shoot root causes)
  • Manage discontinued items
  • Support Category inventory management analytics and efforts
  • Conduct category analysis as required
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of related experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong Microsoft skills including Excel, Word & PowerPoint
  • Ability to work with a team in a multi-location environment
  • Strong verbal/written communications in terms of composing reports/results
  • Post-secondary education is considered an asset

Full and Part-time Warehouse Associates

Job Description:

As part of the team, your ultimate goal will be to prove to each customer that Well.ca is dedicated to incredible service and quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive supplier shipments and sort stock.
  • Pick and pack orders quickly and accurately for shipment.
  • Assist with monitoring and tracking warehouse inventory.
  • Weigh, label, and ship orders using an automated shipping station.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work space.
  • Work as part of a team to encourage growth, innovation, and personal development.

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be motivated, hard-working, passionate and detail-oriented
  • A strong work ethic and the ability to perform in a team oriented atmosphere is required
  • Detail oriented and the drive to initiate change is a must
  • Candidate must be able to lift up to 50lbs

Working Hours:

The flexibility required to accommodate full and part-time shifts between the hours of 8am-8pm, Monday to Saturday is essential. Hours may change based on business needs.

Health Food Buyer

Job Description:

Are you a self-starter with a desire to achieve results in a fast paced environment? Well.ca is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Buyer to join their growing Merchandising team. The ideal candidate will be a team player with strong experience that is ready to take on any challenge and will have experience in the Health Food Industry.

Responsibilities:

The Buyer will own the growth and development of a specific category, including:

  • Owning the aggressive revenue, margin, and SKU count targets for your categories
  • Sourcing new vendors and distributors and setting them up to do business with Well.ca
  • Working with the merchandising team to onboard new SKUs and maintain them over time
  • Managing inventory levels and proactively de-list unproductive SKUs ad vendors
  • Setting pricing for all SKUs for the category, and determining promotional pricing
  • Building weekly promotions, in conjunction with key vendors, to meet promotional targets and generate traffic and excitement to Well.ca
  • Maximizing relationships with vendors, including securing coop and rebate dollars
  • Creating insight on category/SKU performance to understand what’s working and what’s not
  • Working with the Marketing team to develop a robust promotional calendar
  • Managing OTB and inventory to maximize sales and margin opportunities
  • Related duties connected with making the category and business successful

Qualifications:

  • Proven Buyer experience with a minimum of 3-5 years experience
  • Previous food buying experience (ideally health food) with knowledge of key brands and vendors
  • Track record of success working for a top-tier retailer or brand
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong analytical skills
